Main Street’s promotions committee works to put on a variety of events that are meant to:
–bring people into the community and into downtown specifically
–bring shoppers into stores, bars, and restaurants
–promote the district, its products, businesses, services
–demonstrate the important role of Downtown Keokuk in the community at large
Promotions committee does this through events like:
-Ladies Day Out
-Crazy Days & City Wide Sales
-Downtown Trick or Treat
-Small Business Saturday
-Puttin’ on the Glitz
